Dishwasher Drain Pipe Under Sink

To get the least noise you can configure your drain to code as follows.

Your pipe should now be running out of your dishwasher around in a high loop and down into the wye between your sink baskets. Take the loose end of the drain pipe coming out of the loop and attach it to the small inlet on the wye. My idea is to drill a hole in the floor and run it right under the floor. First connect the dishwasher drain hose onto the small side of the air gap mounted on the countertop or sink deck. You may need to trim the hose and be sure to use a hose clamp.
